Opportunities at GLGalleria Lazzara is always looking for talented local, national, and international artists. We are working on filling our monthly shows for 2009. Monthly group shows include 5 artists. Galleria Lazzara does not require that artists sign an exclusive contract with the gallery. Each artist is free to show work at other venues. We do request that the artist have no conflicting shows during the month of showing at Galleria Lazzara. For more details about monthly shows, the gallery’s artist contract is available to download. General qualification is the artist must have shown his/her work in a group show and sold 40% of the work, or the artist must have had previous successful solo show with a different art venue. PhotographersIn February 2009, Galleria Lazzara will be hosting a group photography show in honor of Fotofest. We are looking for 5-7 accomplished photographers for this show. There is no set theme currently, so please apply with samples of your work. InternshipGalleria Lazzara does have openings for art gallery internships. This is a great opportunity to learn how a gallery works and to build experience in the arts. Galleria Lazzara offers a wide variety of internships and positions.
